A few bogus posts here - I have had the pizza here three times and loved it each time. I have lived in stamford for the last 15 years and no one has pizza this good. I work in manhattan and this pizza is comparable to the best in the city.

Just had lunch there. very busy and a little bit rantic. Pizza was great, wonderful crispy thin crust, smokey and charred. topping were top notch.
salad was big, fresh and juicy.

great experience and well done. better run than many places that have been open for years versus a few days. they seem to really 'care' about the customers being happy. how crazy is that?

Went there last night, opening day. It is truly the greatest pizza I have ever tasted!!! Big black bubbles, sauce is heavenly, and the cheese is incredible. Staff was froendle and even one on the owners came over and talked with us. There is nothing better. I'm just worried they're going to get so big, I'll never get back in. Try it and you'll be hooked.

Yeah, no parking maybe 5 feet from your destination, but you can't tell me there is no parking. There are multiple cheap garages.

Totally psyched about having coal fired pizza in Stamford. I used to live in Brooklyn where you can get some darn good pizza. Nobody in Stamford has good pizza - that pizza tour thing was a joke. The Best of the Worst is what they should have called it. Let's see what these guys can do. Coal fired pizza is an entirely different kind of pizza.

Much better parking up there though - perfect for pick up on way home. Very happy about coal fired pizza coming to Stamford. About time! Pepe's in Fairfield is a shadow of the New Haven home base. Can't wait!
