New BYOB Thai in Ridgeway
Little Buddha was announced awhile ago as a new Stamford location from owners the popular Little Thai Kitchen of Darien. Looks like its moving into an abandoned ice cream shop in Ridgeway. 
I'm not aware of any other BYOB (Bring Your Own Booze) places in Stamford. Little Buddha might have a nice gimmick carved out to distinguish themselves in a crowded market. I was under the impression restaurants turned their biggest profits on beverages, but every extra incentive is probably increasingly necessary to fill seats in this economy.
BYOB is a big scene in other cities (Philly is a good example). What say you? Do you want to see more BYOB restaurants in Stamford?

Seems like a terrible location. For a part of town that most people only travel to by car - where do you park? Ridgeway always seems to be a mess. Maybe they will have some delivery business?
Stamford always amaizes me for people starting restaurants with strange locations and/or no parking or car access. You'd think people would learn?
There's actually parking behind the dry cleaners/men's wearhouse that is meant for customer's of that plot of land.
Turn R on to Bridge street, then take a quick right behind the dry cleaners
You can also park in the Ridgeway lot and walk across the street, though that lot can be a pain.
Don't look for a quick opening, the grapevine has it that they did not do a good job doing things the way they submitted the plan.
Similar ting happened across the street and They were significantly delayed.
I think this BYOB idea is GREAT! I remember first experiencing it in New Haven at a Japanese restaurant YEARS ago...it's finally catching on :)
For real, drinks are expensive..a detriment to dining out these days...let us bring our own 6 pack or Zimas in and dine afforadably ;)

Not sure about the Zimas, but I'm in full support of BYOB. Hopefully it will catch on downtown.
Free parking in the back, they need to advertise that more!
