First Look at New YMCA
Scaffolding went up on the Washington Blvd YMCA as continuation of the partial hotel conversion/ club spruce up project. This is first image of the planned refurbished outside I've seen. (and most likely you too).
That's the best size I can do. Thanks to Footnotes - All the News That Foot Can Print for the image.
Certainly a marked improvement from it's current outward appearance.

Very nice. the block between tresser and Broad could so with a facelift. I thought they were going to build something on that corner?
I noticed that MyGym on the corner of Atlantic and Bell have moved out. Moved I think to Springdale.
One of the St Johns Tower was supposed to come down as part of a big project over there. Seems to be on hold, although I've noticed some of the businesses clearing out slowly from the storefronts below it. Bad economy or leases not being renewed?
not sure. seen plenty of activity on the Ritz plot. Lots of trucks, cars and soil. could Rich and co be preperaring the site for a couple of years of inactvity 2012 is the latest ground-breaking estimate?
