Dark BlogStamford
I went to Duo last night for dinner and found myself enjoying the drinks, the apps, the entire experience up until they forgot to bring my main course. I calmly accepted the apology. Mistakes happen, that's why pencils have erasers. I'll pick off everyones plates while i wait. Something stirred though deep in my subconscious...
"I'M BLOGSTAMFORD!!! I'll ruin you Duo with a scathing review viewed by 156 unique impressions a day! Bring forth a great bounty of sushi to appease me!"
What's that saying? Power corrupts but absolute power doesn't?

And I just decided we had to go there some day . . .
now you will witness this power of this FULLY OPERATIONAL web blog!
Fortunately, sweetie, I'm here to balance your evil tyranny.
Irene, I adore Duo; you must try!
I love the food at Duo and they do a nice job. I've been there a few times but the last time I went we had this wacky waitress who completely screwed up our order, couldn't answer any questions on the menu. The best part was at the end, we asked if they had a dessert menu and she brought the regular dinner menu over, opened it, pointed to the main DINNER courses and said "here you go" and walked away. We were her only table and she spent most of the time spacing out, flirting with her co-workers. I love Duo but the service can be awful sometimes! THe owner/manager came over and nicely explained the desserts to us, seemed like he could tell she was completely clueless and we were frustrated.
Duo is not my favorite -sorry StamfordTalk - I don't quite enjoy the entire 'fusion' concept - but on the other hand, I might kill for their dessert.
I am with whitemist; after trying Duo once I am unlikely to go back. I am willing to overlook a lot but the service at Duo was so bad as to be humorous. It seems like a chronic problem!
...and i forgot to say earlier: Blog Stamford, you must only use this power for good.
The food was good, but the service was as many of you seemed to agree lacking. I've only had worse service in Stamford at Curley's. I always admired their grit in their battle with the URC but that night I was ready to drive the bulldozer thru myself.
Hey, main course or no, one has to admit that the food is fab.
